It was so far the largest IPO in Europe in terms of market capitalisation and a historic moment for the company: On September 29th, Dr. Ing. h.c. F. Porsche AG mastered the IPO on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange and placed almost 113.9 million preferred shares. A significant step that secures more entrepreneurial freedom for Porsche and sets it up solidly for the challenges of the future.

Crédit Agricole CIB accompanied this IPO as co-lead manager and was thus part of a group of international banks mandated with the transaction surrounding the IPO.

In addition to the activities surrounding the IPO, Crédit Agricole CIB also supported Porsche Automobil Holding SE in financing the purchase of 25% and one share of Porsche AG ordinary shares. This syndicated loan has a total volume of 8.9 billion euros, of which 7.9 billion euros will be used to finance the share purchase. A further one billion euro will serve the company as a revolving credit facility for the coming years. Together with five other banks, Crédit Agricole CIB acts as mandated lead arranger and underwriter.
